FAQ

How long does the order take to process?
If you have a copy of your contact lens prescription, and you upload it alongside your order, the lenses will process in 24 hours or less. If you do not have a copy of your contact lens prescription, and we have to contact your eye care provider for verification, it may take up to 72 hours to process the order.

How long does shipping normally take?
The majority of the orders will be delivered within 2-3 days from when the order was processed. We have five distribution centers: one in Massachusetts, New York, California, Florida and Missouri. Your contact lenses will ship from whichever distribution center is closest to you. If your order is out of stock in the center closest to you, they will instead ship from the second-closest distribution center. Exceptions to the rule would be unusually high prescriptions and some astigmatism lenses. Those products are often times only housed at one distribution center as opposed to all of them because there is less of a demand. In that case, shipping could take anywhere from 5-7 days depending on how far away your address is from that particular distribution center.

What if my brand is back-ordered in my prescription?
We will notify you if your contact lenses are back-ordered and then give you a time frame for when we expect the contacts to be back in stock. It will be your choice if you want your money back or if you want to wait for them to be back in stock.

Can I still buy contact lenses if my prescription is expired?
Federal law prohibits the sale of contact lenses if the prescription has expired. In some cases, we can contact your eye care provider on your behalf and ask for a one-time order approval in order to last you long enough until your scheduled exam.

I don’t see my contact lens brand on your website. Is it still possible for you to order them?
Yes. If your contact lens brand is not shown on our website, it is probably a lesser-known brand, a custom lens, or a private-label brand. In most cases, we can still get them for you.

Can I return my contact lenses?
If the boxes of contact lenses are unopened, you can absolutely return them. If the boxes are opened, it is harder for us to send them back to the manufacturer, so we take it on a case-by-case basis. We also cannot take the boxes back if there is marker or pen on the boxes. Please do not write “left” or “right” on
the boxes. That makes it harder for us to return them to the manufacturer.

If my prescription changes, but I still have unopened boxes of contact lenses, can I exchange them for the new prescription?
Yes. As long as the contact lens boxes are unopened and have no marker or writing on them, we can exchange them for the new prescription. If the new prescription is a different, more expensive brand, you only need to pay the difference in price. If the new prescription is a different, less expensive brand, we
will refund you the difference in price.

If I pay in cryptocurrency and I need a refund, will I receive the exact same amount of cryptocurrency back?
You will receive your cryptocurrency back in the dollar-value of whatever the box of contact lenses cost. The price of cryptocurrency fluctuates on a day-to-day basis. As an example, let’s say the USD value of 1 Litecoin is $50 and you purchase 1 box of contact lenses that costs $50. You would pay exactly 1
Litecoin for the box of contact lenses. If you return the contact lenses 2 weeks later, but Litecoin has risen to $100, then you would receive 0.5 Litecoin back ($50) for your return. On the other hand, if Litecoin drops in value to $25, you would receive 2 Litecoin back ($50) for your return.
